Sherry Hayslip is a multi-award-winning interior designer and leader of her firm, with accolades including some of the most prestigious in the industry. Awards include Interior Designer of the Year at the 26th annual ARTS Awards, Subzero Wolf Kitchen Design Awards, and more than 100 other international and national design awards. She has also been featured in Elle Décor, Traditional Home, Modern Luxury, Luxe Interiors & Design, D Home, Texas Home & Living, Better Homes and Gardens, and more. She was also a designer in the Inaugural Kips Bay Dallas showhouse in 2020.
Sherry Hayslip is a registered interior designer in Texas and a member of ASID, IIDA, LDC, DLN, Design Trust, NCIDQ, and TAID. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with honors and later attended Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and Parsons School of Design in Italy.

A hardware and metal work company that was founded by Sherry Hayslip and Cole Smith, Whitesmith & Company began out of a great need for variety in options paired with superb design and high quality. Cole Smith was an exquisite architect who dedicated his life to creating unique and first-class architectural designs that exceeded the expectations of his clients. He worked tirelessly to infuse beauty into his work which is evidenced by his numerous hand drawings and architectural executions that have accumulated over the years. The stunning work of Whitesmith & Company can be seen throughout many historic buildings throughout Dallas and beyond and is also present in much of Sherry’s work today.
